Interwest Contractors was founded over 52 years ago. In 1971, Wes Wierda, upon returning from serving in the Vietnam War as a flight engineer on Chinook helicopters, started his construction company, Interwest Construction. The company's current owner, Jeff Wierda, is a nephew to Wes and has continued the business under the name "Interwest Contractors." Jeff started working construction with Wes over 28 years ago. 

Wes set a precedent for Jeff concerning the values of creating a company that is honest, hard-working, dependable, respectful, and integral, amongst many more. Interwest Contractors strives to uphold those values every day.

At Interwest Contractors, we desire to build our buildings as if we are making them for ourselves. Therefore, we exceed the industry's structural integrity and aesthetic standards. We do not search for the most accessible, cost-effective solutions as the builder to maximize our potential earnings, meanwhile sacrificing the quality of our workmanship for you, the customer. We will instead produce a higher quality product for our clients, even when it comes at a cost to us, the builder. It gives us a sense of pride and a spirit of peace, knowing that when we drive away from a project, our customer is pleased and our building will stand the test of time and of the elements.

Interwest Contractors has had the privilege to work with and alongside many other construction companies and suppliers here in Southwest Montana over the years. We continue to have excellent working relationships with multiple trades, general contractors, and suppliers. We are constantly evolving and ready to rise and accept new challenges presented to us in the future.
